On Saturday, February 21, chase those winter blues away and come to PEEPSHOW: A Secret Worth Keeping, Squeaky Wheel’s largest art happening of the year!

Hosted by DNIPRO, Buffalo's legendary and beautiful Cultural Ukrainian Center on 562 Genesee Street, this art party and fundraiser features two floors of live music, dancing, cutting edge art installations, performances, a silent art auction with art from some of the best artists from this region, a video screening room, and last but not least, an AMAZING selection of beer!

This year’s PEEPSHOW includes installations from over thirty accomplished artists from New York City, Pittsburgh, Rochester, Baltimore, Columbus, Alfred and Buffalo, working in various forms of inter-disciplinary performance, large-scale art projections, sculpture, interactive 3-d video installation, media art and MORE!

The evening’s long list of entertainment will be kicked off by the music of The Skiffle Minstrels, an Artvoice award-winner as Buffalo’s Favorite Band. The other two musical acts feature Kendall, Buffalo’s sexiest “Big Gay Bear”/hip-hop extraodinaire with an often shocking and flamboyant sense of humor, and Bev-Beverly – a one-woman hip-notic electronic dance musician who will be performing with her own personal Hula Hoop Dancer, H^3.

Performances throughout the evening will include Ilya’s Belly Dance Troupe, who will also give a free onstage Belly Dancing Lesson for audience members, an exclusive Drag Show featuring Drag Queen’s from Club Marcella’s, and of course, a sexy and comical performance by Buffalo’s own burlesque troupe The Stripteasers!
